This project included the replacement of two different roof systems. The first system involved replacing the asphalt shingle roof. HKC installed 4.5″ of vented nail base (Wood decking attached to polyisocyanurate insulation). The roof consisted of ice and water protective underlayment, metal valleys, and CertainTeed Landmark shingles.
The low-slope portion of the project consists of (2) layers of 2.2″ polyisocyanurate insulation, tapered insulation and Dens Deck Prime cover board to protect the newly installed insulation. All roof areas were covered with Carlilse 60 mil EPDM membrane.
The project also included new aluminum soffit, fascia, edge metal, copings, new roof hatches and safety railings to protect future maintenance workers from fall hazards.

“A very thorough, neat, and professional job! Well done. “
“Very pleased with your work and your staff. Neighbors told us how well the job was handled while we were not at home. We have recommended you to everyone.”
“My gratitude for the fabulous job on our roof. Neighbors were jealous that their crews threw scrap on bushes and lawns, while your crew filled a trailer from above. At the end of a 12 hour first day, everything was clean and tidy. Also, your salesman’s involvement did not end after i signed the deal.”
“The boys did an excellent job for me. The salesman was great to do business with, and a big help to us. Keep up the high standards.”
“I have hired HKC for several projects. Our school and church roofs were over 30 years old and Henry and his crew have been fantastic to work with as we have put a replacement plan in place. They are always timely and very responsive when we have had minor problems with the old roofs.
I highly recommend HKC for any roofing project.”
